Stuck at a Train (How Boys Chase Girls)

this train is moving slow
such a slow moving series of
lifetimes dimly lit
she is wearing a different lampshade today
in the same rusted room
this train-hopper woman, i see her
from my car
sweating distances
rubbing the seams in her burlap
bodysuit i would
pour out my water against her face
and steal her, run
through the frame in a boxcar
that switches past
like slots on places
to mean nothing with her
i would jump out and tumble
like coins into hands
that will throw me
one by one
into the river and gone
