how little is my own life
too small to cut
too meager to share
a pea, a sharp princess
why do you ask me
can’t you see
we’re better off
if one of us is full?

Hmm.. could you explain this poem a little bit?
i hope it’s different for anyone who reads it.
but for me it’s about the difficulty i have sharing my life with another person. it’s like there isn’t always enough to go around.
Alright, its a lot clearer now. Usually, I don’t ask the poet what they intended, but I wasn’t able to decipher this one well and it piqued my curiosity. Its a very well-written, raw and genuine piece. Thank you!
